The house is a very comfortably fully furnished authentic adobe, with lots of light, hard wood floors and a full basement which we use as a combination game room and guest room. All living space is shared. Amenities include Dish TV w/HBO, house computer w/printer, WiFi, patio w/gas grill, laundry, and storage. Solar panels help to offset heating bills.
Your room is 11’x13’, furnished in a green color scheme with bed, end table, lamps, dresser, two bookcases, table and chair, curtains, and area rugs. The closet is 6’x 2 ½’. Linens and towels are also available. You can bring your own furniture and/or bedding if you like, I can store what’s there in the garage.
We are in a great location, six blocks from the Plaza, and even closer to the De Vargas Mall, walking distance to groceries, shopping, theaters, restaurants, Santa Fe bus lines, RailRunner station and bike trails through the city. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, with a fully enclosed yard that attracts many different kinds of birds (they like the birdbath) and there are lots of flowers in the summer and fall. We enjoy great food preparation and eating and often do house dinners. We have a compost pile in the back yard and are very into recycling. We respect each other’s privacy; your room is your own space. Parking is in the driveway and on the street. Smoking is ok (you can join me on the front porch), medical herbs ok if licensed.
